What is a Smoking Ceremony?

A Smoking Ceremony is an ancient custom that involves various native plants to produce smoke. The smoke has cleansing properties to ward off negative energies and invite positive energy. Participants will learn about the meaning behind why Smoking Ceremonies are conducted before being invited to take part. 

Suitable occasions for a Smoking Ceremonies include:

-          Prior to a Welcome to Country

-          After a Welcome to Country

-          Upon arrival or departure from a venue or event

-          Special events and occasions

Duration: 

The experience is approximately 30 minutes – 45 minutes.

Location: 

The Ceremony is recommended to be conducted in an open, outdoor area with sufficient ventilation. All materials are provided including the contained fire pit. Safety precautions adhered to.

Enquiry / Payment Details:

All booking enquiries are manually confirmed. Payment will be required upon confirmation of the booking. An invoice will be generated and sent to the email address provided.

For corporate bookings, please include the company name (rather than an individual’s name) as that will be the name that the invoice is generated and addressed to. 

Card details are required to submit the booking enquiry but will not be charged. Upon confirmation a payment invoice request will be sent.
